Utilizing her 30+ years of business, entrepreneurial, technical, sales, and leadership expertise, Mitchell has created courses and experiences that increase our undergraduates’ knowledge and help them build the necessary skills to be successful as technology professionals. In 2015, Leona Mitchell joined the iSchool as a Professor of Practice. Although much has changed about the industry since that time, the skills and experiences he gained at the iSchool prepared him to adapt to those changes and excel. During iConference, which took place from March 22 through March 25 in Wuhan, China, two SIS students won the Best Poster Award.
